Party Participation Waiver

Thank you for choosing Little Nature Wanderlust to be part of your child’s celebration.
Our parties are designed to be creative, engaging, and joyful — while remaining safe, age-appropriate, and well supported.

This Party Participation Waiver applies to all Little Nature Wanderlust parties, including staff-led parties and DIY / self-pickup party kits, held in homes, hired venues, outdoor spaces, or third-party locations.

1. Supervision & Responsibility

Little Nature Wanderlust parties are designed for children aged 6 months to 10 years.

By booking a party, the party host agrees that:

  • There will always be at least one responsible supervising adult present

  • Little Nature Wanderlust does not offer pure drop-off parties

  • Supervision levels may vary by age group, particularly for older children

  • Responsibility for children’s behaviour and safety ultimately rests with the party host and supervising adults

  • Little Nature Wanderlust staff provide facilitation and entertainment, but do not provide one-to-one supervision or childcare

2. Assumption of Risk

Participation in parties involves inherent and foreseeable risks associated with children’s play, group activities, and event environments.

These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Slips, trips, or falls

  • Interaction with other children

  • Contact with materials, tools, or shared equipment

  • Uneven surfaces or unfamiliar environments

  • Staining or damage to clothing and personal belongings

  • Minor bumps, scrapes, or injuries typical of children’s parties

By proceeding with the booking, the party host acknowledges and accepts these inherent risks on behalf of all attending children.

3. Allergies, Sensitivities & Health Information

Little Nature Wanderlust works directly with the party host for all pre-party planning and communication.

The party host agrees that:

  • They are responsible for informing Little Nature Wanderlust of any known allergies, sensitivities, or relevant health conditions in advance

  • They are responsible for communicating this information to guests and supervising adults

  • Little Nature Wanderlust relies on the information provided by the host and cannot be held responsible for reactions arising from undisclosed or last-minute changes

Once informed, reasonable care will be taken to support safe participation.

4. First Aid & Emergencies

In the event of a minor injury during a party:

  • The party host or supervising adults remain primarily responsible for attending to the child

  • Little Nature Wanderlust staff may offer basic first-aid items (such as plasters or ice packs) as a courtesy

  • Staff do not provide medical treatment and are not medical professionals

In the event of a serious or time-critical emergency, the party host authorises Little Nature Wanderlust staff to:

  • Contact emergency services

  • Provide basic assistance in good faith until professional help arrives

For DIY / self-pickup parties, all supervision, first aid, and emergency decisions rest entirely with the party host.

5. DIY / Self-Pickup Party Kits

For DIY or self-pickup party packages where Little Nature Wanderlust staff are not present, the party host acknowledges and agrees that:

  • They are fully responsible for setup, supervision, and pack-down

  • All materials are used under adult supervision and at the host’s discretion

  • Little Nature Wanderlust is not responsible for how materials are used once collected

6. Third-Party Equipment, Services & Venues

Parties may take place in environments or alongside equipment and services not provided by Little Nature Wanderlust, including but not limited to:

  • Inflatables or entertainers booked separately by the host

  • Playroom or venue-owned equipment

  • Furniture, flooring, fixtures, or outdoor features

  • Equipment or services supplied by third-party providers

The party host acknowledges that Little Nature Wanderlust is not responsible for injuries or incidents arising from third-party equipment, services, or venue conditions.

7. Photos & Videos

Little Nature Wanderlust may take photos or short videos during parties solely for sharing privately with the party host, so families can enjoy memories from the event.

  • Images are not used for marketing without separate, explicit permission from the party host

  • The party host is responsible for sharing images with guests at their discretion

8. Party Duration

This waiver applies for the full duration of the party, including setup and pack-down where applicable.

9. Indemnification

The party host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Little Nature Wanderlust, its staff, assistants, and affiliates from any claims, demands, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from the party host’s breach of this waiver, failure to supervise attending children, or failure to communicate relevant information (including allergies or health conditions) to guests or supervising adults.

10. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the party host agrees to release Little Nature Wanderlust, its staff, assistants, and affiliates from liability for:

  • Injuries arising from the inherent risks of children’s parties

  • Incidents resulting from supervision decisions by the host or guests

  • Reactions related to undisclosed allergies or health conditions

  • Use of third-party equipment, services, or venues

This waiver does not limit liability in cases of proven gross negligence

11. Agreement to This Waiver

By confirming a party booking, the party host confirms that:

  • They have read and understood this Party Participation Waiver

  • They agree to these terms on behalf of their booking

  • They accept responsibility for supervision, communication with guests, and safety expectations

  • They understand the inherent risks associated with children’s parties and event environments

This waiver is available on our website at all times.
